Every once in a while, you come across a piece of art that deeply moves you. That touches deep within the psyche and connects you to its creator. Dj Metatron, aka Prince of Denmark aka Tramprinz, has done just that as he’s written a body of work that seems almost too perfect to quantify as just another techno/house album. Somewhere between techno, 90’s trance, acid, and melodic breakbeats lies Loops of Infinity. Yet, finding a digital or physical copy of this body of work is almost as rare as hearing the artist perform live.
Many of the tracks are too short to DJ, yet these tracks have some of the most moving melodies. Maybe Loops of Infinity is a challenge of creativity? A well-played troll of the DJ? An actual Rave Love letter? Whatever the case, he’s left this listener on the edge of his seat and eagerly awaiting more.
He remains an enigma in the scene.
