Electro powerhouse label, Cultivated Electronics, is back at it with a sinister bout titled “Sense Combiner”. Client_03 is not a natural human but rather a sentient machine delivering bionic transmissions with class and swagger.
Cultivated Electronics head honcho Sync 24 blesses the release, collaborating with Client_03 on the third track, “Counterfactual Interaction History”. The label maintains its gold standard of Electro and Electronica output on “Sense Combiner” by infusing Electro Breaks with incredible dynamics. Client_03 maintains their server in the UK and shells out AI broadcasting with intelligence and efficiency.
Truly mesmerizing and futuristic stylings can be found within the binary workings of “Sense Combiner” as it utilizes otherworldly sound effects and rhythms. The title track bombards the listener with warped Breaks and grimy bass. The background has a scintillating computer acapella belching “electro” just to remind everyone what they’re getting into. A deep grumbling bassline sets the stage for a six-minute onslaught of divine Electronica. “Morality Corruption Splice Pointer” begins with a melodic vortex courtesy of sharp analog synth work. Rugged grooves bounce at an elevated cadence, commanding appendages to gyrate to the consistent dance pulse. The Acid seeps in around the three-minute mark and then dissipates leaving an insatiable appetite for more.
The release’s final track, “You Have Been Notified,” formulates devious dissonance with reverberated clangs and drawn-out synth stabs. Robotic in nature, the track is raw to the bone and never takes its foot off the proverbial gas. The kick work is ultra-sophisticated, and it elevates the level of rhythm to a higher plane. The entire release showcases amazing Electro with razor blade focus all around. Cultivated Electronics and Client_03 seemingly never miss, and “Sense Combiner” is certainly one of the best releases the genre has seen this year.
