No stranger to the Techno scene, American-born, Paris-based Rodolphe Vidal, aka The Fifth Stigma, is a seasoned DJ, producer, and Dirty Epic resident who produces The Amplify Series podcast.
After growing tired of Techno’s more contemporary direction, Rodolphe Vidal created a new alias, The Fifth Stigma, as an industrial and esoteric project to explore the realms of history and the wonders from forgotten eras through music.
Crafting heavy, raw, and metallic Techno, his style is driven by a blend of several genres in times where everything seems to go faster, looks alike, and tends to be too easily accessible and instantly consumed.
Refusing to be boxed in by any single genre, Vidal revels in exploring new styles across different horizons, from liturgical and Techno to Noise and Punk. Production wise, he enjoys forging intimate pieces, transporting listeners to various desolate, agonizing landscapes.
Rodolphe Vidal’s career as an artist includes releases on OMEN Recordings, Subsist records, and Infidel Bodies. He’s even played across quite a few international destinations, including here in the States as well as in France and Greece.
