Kiara Scuro release their bass-laden debut EP “Night Crush” on Kassian’s Faux Poly imprint.
The London-based DJ and production duo Kiara Scuro, composed of Rosie Ama and Nadia Harris, have launched their debut EP, “Night Crush,” on the Faux Poly label. Released on February 6, 2025, this three-track collection delves into both deep house and techno, reflecting the duo’s extensive experience on the European festival circuit and their residencies at Rinse FM and Balamii Radio.
“Night Crush” presents three low-end focused club tracks, each characterized by shimmering delayed vocals, ethereal synths, and rhythmic rolling bass lines.
The opening track, “Witching Hour,” sets a moody atmosphere, capturing the essence of late-night club experiences. “Twilight Tool” continues with a groove-centric approach, offering a stripped-back composition that allows listeners to immerse themselves in its hypnotic rhythms.
The EP concludes with “Zeki’s Dream,” a track inspired by Nadia’s Lebanese heritage and dedicated to her son, Zeki. This piece stands out with its unique blend of cultural influences and deep house elements.

In their own words, Kiara Scuro describe the EP as a reflection of their favorite club memories over their eight-year journey together. They utilized a mix of their own vocals and samples to evoke images of late-night sets where time seems to stand still, encapsulating the “Witching Hour” ambiance.
