Nestled up against the Los Angeles fashion district, a transformation is set to arise. The era of daytime parties is about to see an evolution and it all starts with a well-curated experience.
From the vast open spaces found between the industrial warehouses of the City of Angels, we will be converting a cold concrete lot into an outdoor venue filled with passionate music lovers of all backgrounds.
Our carefully hand-picked line-up is nothing to be sniffed at.
With an impressive 20 years of history in the art of dance under his belt, KENNY LARKIN needs no introduction. But to the uninitiated, this Detroit native produce timeless soulful techno and has cemented himself into the annals of techno music; alongside his mates Kevin Saunderson, Carl Craig, Derrick May, to name a few.
Sharing the spotlight is a globe-trotting machine-lover named Gabriel Gutierrez. Or better known as GUTI. Born in a family of musicians, Guti is a huge jazz & rock ‘n’ roll artist in his country of Argentina. This jazz prodigy eventually found himself in the underground house & techno movement performing live with his machines.
A Guti sunset performance is surely not to be missed!
And last but definitely not the least, is our very own KIM ANH. Dubbed by Thump as “LA’s club queen,” Kim has been part of our underground culture since the 90s. Founder of Booby Trap! and Tendencies parties, she has taken the responsibility to provide safe spaces for women, people of color, and the LGBTQ community of independent artists through her music.
And finally, we have also invited a couple of highly-rated food trucks for sustenance and a bar for hydration.
Come join us on SUNDAY MAY 6 for the first installment of OPEN AIR SUNDAY! The vision from the current stewards of the LA underground music scene, a collaboration between INCOGNITO, DIRTY EPIC, and Evolve Project LA, will finally be born.
