Boundary pushing DJ-producer TRACY cements an early 2021 release consisting of pad heavy frequencies, harmony driven grooves and stimulating synths.
Often a starting ambient track fails to deliver more than a prelude but leading “conversation” acts upon all senses and really takes the listener on a journey. The low-key percussion throughout the album gives full credit to the well thought out bass and synth patterns. There is an ease and calm that lends itself nicely to the recitative nature of this release. Impressive funkiness that keeps the techno aspect alive while branching out into more Electronica groove. Again, the subtle hi-hats drive home the vibe in the second and third tracks without being invasive. Whether at home or banging the system at the club, this release is tailored to do the job. Looking forward to more from Tracy this year.
