Reset Robot – “Atomic Concept” (Whistleblower Records) [1/29/21]

With over twenty years of perfecting and polishing his extraordinary engineering and producing skills, Dave Robertson, or as we know him here, Reset Robot, brings us “Atomic Concept”.

Gathering sounds from his early years spent in the clubs of the UK’s south coast, combined with his uncanny appetite for attention to detail in the studio, Dave has created a unique sound that spans all the dimensions of techno. “What Are These” begins a near forty-minute climb of solid building bass lines, melodic synths, and electronic tones that interfuse with a path of future techno. Dripping over this half-sheet length of an album is a slight dose of textured ambiance with lush, stripped down grooves that will either leave you daydreaming, dancing, or “Flying To The Top Of Dorian’s Mountain”. As we generate on through this six track EP Dave solidifies himself as an artinclatent master of his craft with deep, dark, rhythmic fusion. Unlike an explosion conceived in your mind, the “Atomic Concept” is physically meant for your ears.
