ØSC, Andrea Zapata, Øbsidiaän, A.Denial, Van Morph – “V/A Lunar Sintesis” (Orbitando) [January 15, 2024]

It’s no secret that Columbia’s Techno and underground circuit has long been a source of intrinsically unique and genre-defying artistic expressionism. This, coupled with the country’s seemingly inherent ability to create new and revolutionary playing fields for up-and-coming artists, has led to a proverbial defining movement in the Techno community. It has also led to worldwide recognition that produced some well-renowned imprints, both established and freshly budding, in their own right.

One such label has pushed into the public foray with a deeper test of the sonic landscapes and auditory field of vision, quickly gaining a foothold as a fresh pinnacle of deep, hypnotic mannerisms coupled with an almost sci-fi feel that gives a sense of an ode to classic instrumentalism and styles that curated the foundation to electronic synthesis in modern culture.

Established in 2021, the Orbitando label has quickly found itself bending the focal points of the genre and now stands to again subvert the ideology of 4-on-the-floor beatdown styles that many find commonplace in the musical spectrum. With their recent “V/A Lunar Sintesis” release, Orbitando fires off 5 distinctly Ambient-influenced musical endeavors, all with deep roots in galactic styles of movement that reign supreme in a deeper, more full bodied covenant of sound. Putting forth subterranean Techno, deep and moving in its own, the release is slated to fully drop on January 15th and is packed full of dancefloor killers for the introspective audiophile.
