DTW 2 LAX, the thumping release out on Belgium’s Token Records is the raw darkness we love from David Flores’ decade long running project “Truncate”.
With four thumping tracks the first flip holds two versions of the title track DTW 2 LAX. This is ten minutes of raw driven techno laid out so smoothly you may give it a couple of listens before you flip it. The drive continues into “The Dawn” , the third track of this electronic percussion ensemble. The final track “Minimize” assures you that the raw, deep, driven, underground techno sound is alive and well.
