Embracing the leftfield magic once again, John Tejada drops a seriously palatable jam as we continue on in 2021. Classically trained and extremely diverse, Tejada almost never disappoints.
Akin to an Illian Tape track, “The haunting of earth” feels more like a living entity than a song. Layers and layers of soundscapes, lending themselves to become a bigger picture. Boom bap style drumkits blend with beautifully eerie saw form synths. As the beat progresses, scenes of a murder mystery or even James Bond come to mind as the track unfolds itself brilliantly. Curiosity subsides and the narrative becomes clearer, bringing the listener back to square one. A vicious cycle presents new opportunities and increases the playability exponentially.
